About BELLA
Applicants must meet the following requirements: Setting: Rural, suburban Dwelling: Single family Fence: No fence required Bella is from a rural area and has not been exposed to traffic, noise, or groups of people. If dogs are overwhelmed by their environment, they can exhibit behaviors like excessive barking. To avoid this, for now we are limiting placement to stand alone single-family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area. As we learn more from the dog's time spent in foster, we will evaluate if placement can be expanded to include a more urban environment and send out an update. Mar 12, 2026: Bella means beautiful in Italian and even though she is an English lab, not Italian, she definitely is beautiful. Because she is so beautiful she was used for breeding but she is done with all that. Her last litter was in December and now it's her turn to be cared for and loved by a family. She has lived on a farm her entire life and will learn how comforting a bed and home are and not having to care for any more puppies. She likes to chase cats so a cat-free home for this beauty. She is good with other dogs and has no history with kids so approved for kids 10 and up. She is very friendly, has lots of energy, and is frisky! Bella can't wait to dive into a life as a loved family member and enjoy the creature comforts in her retirement. Bella is an 8-year-old yellow intact female. She weighs 93.7 pounds but needs to lose 10 pounds through diet and gentle exercise before she can get spayed. She is current with vaccines. She will need lepto, lyme, and CIV boosters due between 3/25-4/1. READ MEDICAL TAB. Bella needs another Heartworm test in six months (September 2026) as we don't have proof she has been on heartworm preventatives. OGU to Lab Rescue.
