She is a little shy when she first meets you but warms up quickly. She smelled out where I keep my treats and comes up to let me know she would like one, which she takes gently She retrieves but carries it off to play with later, which is normal for strays to do. She has met several new pup at Puppy Day Care and plays with everyone. She would like a home with a family that has a fenced yard will give her lots of love, training and give her the exercise she needs.. Someone is going to get a wonderful dog when they adopt her. Kids 10 and up as we have no history of her living with any. She had a ball playing with Phil and Éclair. Have no cat history. Knows her name and come working on other commands. She is a young dog and can use some additional training so will have a Training Addendum. Hasn't been on lead much so pulls some pretty good with an Easy Walk Harness. She may be house trained and is keeping her room clean at the Pet Lodge. Nell was an stray to the shelter along with Éclair, her mom . They were turned in after being found going after chickens at a farm. Nelly is an 6 month old chocolate spayed female. Up to date on vaccines. Spayed on 10 March, needs to take it easy until 20 Mar. Needs Leptospirosis, Lyme & Canine Influenza vaccines boosters between 1 & 8 April,. Weighs 39 lbs. good weight at this age - adult weight about 55 lbs. See Medical Tab. Note: Nelly will need another Heartworm test in six months (Sept 9, 2026), as we don't know if she was on Heartworm preventatives before coming into Lab Rescue. Stray to shelter.
