About Missy #2

Adopters must meet these requirements: Setting: Rural, Suburban Dwelling: Single Family Home Fencing: Needs fence either physical or underground. Training Addendum Mar 7, 2026: Missy is shy around some men when she first meets them but as soon as you get her trust the real dog come out and you find a happy and friendly pup. She enjoys being in the yard, and likes to play with other dogs. She will go investigate tossed toys but hasn't started bringing them back yet. She takes treats gently. She would love a home with an active family that has a fenced yard so she can play and get the exercise and training she needs to thrive. Kids 10 and up as we have no history of her living with any. She played with other dogs at her rescuers and the shelter. She has been out with other dogs at the Pet Lodge and did great. Have no cat history. Knows sit and come working on other commands. She is a yung dog and will have a Traing Addendum. She may be house trained and is keeping her room clean at the Pet Lodge. Pulls some on lead and could benefit from a with an Easy Walk Harness. Missy was a stray to a rescuer. A family found her out in the middle of nowhere and brought her home with them after checking at houses closest to where they found her. They tried to find her owners by contacting Animal Control, adds in the local paper and online but no one came to get her. They couldn't keep her as they had 3 dogs so they turned her into the local shelter who asked us to find her a good home. Missy- 2 year old black spayed female. Up to date on vaccines.
