If dogs are overwhelmed by their environment, they can exhibit behaviors like excessive barking. To avoid this, for now we are limiting placement to stand alone single-family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area. As we learn more from the dog's time spent in foster, we will evaluate if placement can be expanded to include a more urban environment and send out an update. If this boy's medaling in your heart, come meet him today! Ilia is an 8-month old (DOB: 6/17/25) chocolate neutered male. He was neutered on 2/27 and needs to take it easy until 3/13. He weighs 44.5 pounds which is an ideal weight for him. He is current with vaccines. Positive for lyme and anaplasmosis, non-contagious tickborne diseases, and is being treated with antibiotics for one month. READ MEDICAL TAB Ilia needs another Heartworm test in six months (August 2026) as we don't have proof he has been on heartworm preventatives. Ilia was surrendered to the rescue.
