If dogs are overwhelmed by their environment, they can exhibit behaviors like excessive barking. To avoid this, for now we are limiting placement to stand alone single-family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area. As we learn more from the dog's time spent in foster, we will evaluate if placement can be expanded to include a more urban environment and send out an update. Mar 17, 2026: Shiloh had his appointment for his boosters today and he let everyone know that any shyness he had in the past - is in the past. He greeted everyone with tail wags and happiness. He was great for the Vet and gave lots of kisses to the staff. He's been doing great at boarding and daycare and was happy to help them out with their St Patrick's Day doggie beer commercial. The staff loves his carefree approach to things, and how he's so full of life and love. He had a blast with bubbles during inside play while the weather outside was gloomy. This sweet boy is here to brighten your day. He's ready to become a part of some lucky family. Mar 2, 2026: Shiloh is a sweet, slightly shy pup who turns into a cuddle bug 2 minutes after meeting you. He loves to give kisses and his favorite treat is cheese! He loves being told he's a good boy! Shiloh is much smarter than he lets on according to his transporter. He’s friendly, playful, and loves other dogs. Shiloh walks fairly well on leash and will need some practice on that. He loves to play with other dogs and was great with a dog, smaller then him at the shelter. More on this smart, handsome boy once he moves to a foster home. Approved for kids 10 and up as we have no history of him ever living with young children. He is unknown with cats and good with other dogs. Shiloh - 7m old, neutered, black male. 42 lbs and growing. Neutered on 2/26- he will need to take it easy until 3/9. Up to date on Vaccines he will need Lepto, Lyme and CIV boosters due 3/16-3/23. 4DX negative. READ MEDICAL TAB Shiloh needs another Heartworm test in six months (September 2026) as we don't have proof he/she has been on heartworm preventatives prior to coming to Lab Rescue. Owner surrender to the shelter due to not enough time for him
