About Tracey

Applicants must meet the following requirements: Setting: Rural, suburban Dwelling: Single family Fence: Physical Fence Required Energy level: Moderate Mar 10, 2026: Sweet Tracey continues to be described by his foster in the most flattering terms; a great dog. He loves tennis balls and playing fetch. He loves hard chew toys, soft beds, and strong smells. He loves humans and dogs alike and enjoys sharing that affection. He loves being a good boy! A completely housebroken dog simply waiting for a house. Mar 4, 2026: Tracey is cute, fun and affectionate while he eager awaits his furever home! This handsome 6 year old is a real catch - he loves to retrieve tennis balls, gets along well with the resident Labs, loves soft dog beds and is ready to snuggle on the sofa with you! He does need some training for the best possible outcome. But that is part of the joy of having a dog with a bold but fun personality! Tracey is fully housebroken and an absolute pleasure to foster. Mar 1, 2026: Sweet Tracey has really started to show his fosters his personality! He is very curious about everything, likes to watch his fosters cook and might counter surf to see if there’s any tasty morsels for him. He retrieves tennis balls and enjoys carrying them around in his mouth. Tracey also likes hard chews like Benebones and is getting the hang of stuffed kongs. He loves affection and always wants to be near his humans. He’s still working on perfecting his manners and some training will likely help. He loves the dog beds and gets along well with the resident Labs. Watch Tracey show off his retrieving: https://youtu.be/84AFljW-5ig Feb 24, 2026: Tracey has settled into his foster environment very quickly and very well. He is completely housebroken, enjoys the dog bed, and would love to see life up on the couch. He is crate trained but doesn't require it. Does well with multiple resident dogs, and the sounds of life in a house. Loves pets and affection from humans and dogs alike. Tracey also loves playing outside and running around. He will need exercise in conjunction with training to reach his full potential, but don't we all? He is a very sweet and beautiful lab curiously awaiting his final stop in a forever home. Feb 22, 2026 – Tracey arrived at his fosters’ home on Friday and has shown himself to be affectionate, fun and playful. He’s been interested in playing with tennis balls and has done well with the two resident labs. He appears to be housebroken and has been able to navigate carpet, hardwood and tile floors at his fosters. More to come on this playful fellow as he settles in more. Feb 5, 2026: Tracey is a sweet, handsome, lovable Lab who was believed to have been a breeder dog. He was found on a rural property with Spencer and Kate, 2 other Labs, that he seemed to know quite well. He's working on adjusting to a new life and finding things like leashes, thresholds and tile floors to be on his list of things he needs to get to know. He does wait to go outside to do his business and has not had any accidents. He is taking it all in stride and adjusting well. Everyone that's met him says he is an absolute sweetheart and we couldn't agree more. Approved for kids 10 and up as we have no history of him ever living with young children. He is unknown with cats and good with other dogs. Tracey - 6 yr old, neutered, black male. He weighs 66 lbs. Up to date on vaccines. 4DX Heartworm positive.
