Feb 7, 2026: Mabel is a sweet, easy-going, well-mannered, house-broken, loving senior who, after being abandoned in a vacant house, deserves to spend her last years with lots of naps and love from a forever family. She interacts wonderfully with the foster family, their visitors, and other dogs. Mabel travels and leash walks well. A fenced yard may not be necessary if her adopters are committed to leash walking. Although Mabel doesn’t complain when crated, she would prefer a lift onto the couch or bed to snuggle with her human and dog friends. Having limited steps and another non-rambunctious dog companion may be beneficial as she seems to be deaf and is showing signs of age-related arthritis.
